Model: DG-101
Been smoking it up in the Subaru lately? So just how much rubber did you burn?
No idea? Get one of these then!
It's so easy to use, just switch it on, zero it on a flat surface and then push the slider into the tread. It will show you how many millimetres of tread you have left. Or if you're an old school geezer who can only understand inches then there's an inch/mm button that caters for you.
For safety reasons it's good to know how much tread you're wearing out there and will save the guesswork when it comes to getting a WOF. And if the man in the white coat tells you 'time for new tires Sonny' you can impress the hell out of him with this and prove that you have enough rubber to be legal (assuming you do!).
Tire tread must be at least 1.5mm across three quarters of the tread pattern around the entire tyre.
This device uses the same electronics as the digital callipers we sell, and because it's so accurate (0.02mm) it can also be used as an engineering depth gauge. It will measure to 27mm deep.
